The Glenrothes Cricket Club (GCC) Interim Management Team are working hard to sustain the day to day running of the club but more importantly to look at longer term strategic and operational improvements needed to embed a sustainable future for the club.
The team met on Thursday 17 February 2022 to finalise the proposals for the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) in March 2022, and it was agreed that all papers, subject to minor amendments, were ready to be taken forward.
This includes a new Constitution which gives the club a clear purpose, setting membership types and fees to ensure that cost is not a barrier to participation and identifying the right people to fill the crucial roles on the Management Committee - if you want to get involved then get in touch!
There was also discussions on financial management, preparations for the 2022 season (including grounds maintenance and fixture planning) and the need to support continued learning and development in all we do.
If you would like to find out more about what was discussed then please just get in touch and we can share the draft minutes from the meeting.
We would like to encourage all members, and others interested in the club, to attend our EGM on Thursday 17 March from 19:30 at the Hub (and we'll offer online participation also). So please do keep an eye out for more information coming soon.
