A promising Wicket Keeper Batsman, Jamie (20) came through the ranks at Dunfermline CC before switching to Heriots CC where he has spent the past 3 seasons.
Last season he was one of the top performers in the ESCA Division 1 batting and fielding statistics.
Upon confirming his decision to join the Glens, Jamie commented; "'I'm very excited to join the club and look forward to meeting everyone at pre-season training in January. I'm really keen to try and improve my game and with all I've seen from afar I'm certain Glenrothes is the perfect place to do so."
"I'm also excited to get a chance to train and learn from Scotland World Cup Keeper Alec Davies and to be playing once more with some of the guys I grew up with from my time at Dunfermline."
Club Chairman Kenny Crichton added; "Jamie is without a doubt the kind of player and person we're keen to attract to our club, we've seen him first hand keeping and batting for Fife Squires T20 in recent years and we're looking forward to seeing his game develop in 2016".
"With several retirements at the club following the end of last season the club are actively looking for new players to participate in our 5 weekend teams; everyone is welcome even if you've never played before".
Pre-season training gets underway at Cluny Clays (near Kirkcaldy) on Sunday 10th January 2016 and new players are welcome to attend their first session for FREE.
