The 1st XI travelled to Scroggie Park to play Falkland 2nd XI in the SPCU Division 1 on Saturday, with Zane Schlebusch stepping down from the home club's 1st XI to regain some form - which he duly did.
Glenrothes batted first and despite a number of batters making starts, none were able to kick on and make a significant score - Sufyan Ahmed top scoring with 30 and young Anas Tanveer hitting 26.
Schlebusch was the stand out bowler with three wickets for 13 runs in just under seven overs, though Glenrothes will have been disappointed they did not take advantage of the other bowlers.
Despite Anas Tanveer taking the wicket of opener Andrew Gibson, that was to be the last moment of success for Glenrothes as Schlebusch batting at number three dominated the innings in hitting 78 not out to see Falkland claim the win in the 24th over.
A huge thanks to the matchball sponsor Colin Dryburgh Painter and Decorator.
